MANNA IN THE MORNING

Some weeks are harder than others. Psalm 34 reminded me today that even in the middle of grief, difficult relationships, and big life transitions, the Lord is near. Im just so grateful for the Word of God. Like it is just so good. Just like David's says, "Taste and see that the Lord is good."

Before you watch today’s reflection, pause and read Psalm 32. This one is powerful. David opens with, “Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven.” And immediately I thought — we are living in the promise David longed for. We live on the other side of the cross. Jesus has already paid the price for our sin. That is not something to take lightly. Then he says, “When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long.” He’s describing physical heavine

I’ve felt worn down this week. Like I could barely function quite frankly. Reading Psalm 29 brought me back to something simple: The Lord gives strength. The Lord gives peace. We don’t fight spiritual battles the way the world fights. WE stay in the Word, WE speak what is written and WE trust the Lord to give strength and peace. This is how you fight back.

Have you ever noticed how nature speaks? I certainly have and it's absolutely undeniable!

The perfect reminder, “I Love You, Lord, My Strength” — especially when life just feels tough!

As a mom, I've always got my eyes on the lookout for my babies. Psalm 17 says that’s how God looks at us. That’ll change how you walk into your week.

Today I'm diving into Psalm 16:8 — “I have set the Lord continually before me; because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.” What does that actually mean in real life?

If none of us are righteous… and only the righteous can stand before God… Then where does that leave us?

Have you ever felt the kind of anguish describes today? I know I have and hearing his cry to the Lord took me back to some of the mostly painful seasons I too have experienced this kind of hurt!

“With flattering lips and a double heart they speak.” I’ve worked hard not to be fake. I’ve also worked hard not to hurt people. Somewhere in that journey, I’ve had to wrestle with the tension between people pleasing, flattery, and actually speaking truth in love. Encouragement and flattery are not the same thing. And neither is honesty and criticism. Today I’m processing the difference — and the fine line in between.

Do you feel weary today, or know someone who is? I know what it feels like to be so low in spirit, so weary it’s hard to function. This morning, the Lord gave us a prayer in Psalm 9.

If you had the key to silencing the enemy would you use it? Whew! Great question for us to toss around! What would we do!?! What a no brainer right!?!

It's not everyday I feel the progress but on days like today I feel like a princess doing twirls in a fancy dress. Thankyou Lord!

Every watched the movie, Jerry McGuire? My favorite part is when he quotes, "You had me at hello!" This was my hello moment as I read Psalms 1 today!!!!
