MANNA IN THE MORNING

What if when we have no answers our only goal isto worship!

Wisdom isn’t just about having something to say—it’s about knowing when not to say it. Job this morning made me really think, especially as a mom raising teens and young adults. Good intentions don’t always land the way we hope, and sometimes the most faithful move is to pray first and speak later. It may even be we are to pray and hold our tongue. Either way, we need Jesus every step of the way for sure!

What an early in the year wake up call for me. I love how the Lord loves me enough to pursue me full force. Why wait to address tomorrow what we can get after and heal today?!

Maybe our invitation today is not to figure it out, but to remain open-handed right in the middle of the very things we don't understand.

I’ve been thinking a lot about how we show up for people when life falls apart for them—and how often my instinct is to fix instead of simply be present.

Reading Esther again, I’m realizing how differently women were treated in that culture and how little that shapes my identity today. I spent years believing God saw women as less valuable, even if I never said it out loud. After walking with the Lord, raising both sons and a daughter, and actually studying Scripture, I see it so differently now. It’s not about being modern but understanding what God meant all along.
