Nature Does Speak: Psalm 19

One of the things I love about this little vlogging rhythm is that you are getting me In real life. No polished sermon, no studio lights, Just me, a cup of coffee, and whatever the Lord is showing me that morning. If you have not read Psalm 19 yet, go read it first. Then come back.
Psalm 19 opens with: “The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display His craftsmanship.” (NLT)
I was not even outside when I read it. I was sitting at my kitchen counter. Yet immediately my mind went to the mornings when I wake up just in time to see the horizon turn pink and orange. That Florida sunrise where the sky looks painted with neon colors of orange and pink. There have been so many times when Im standing at the beach watching the palm trees bend in the wind without breaking thinking, how did He come up with that? It's roots are strong enough to hold, trunks flexible enough to bend -- It's quite incredible. Creation speaks for sure.
The stars at night. The way the moon hangs there. A bright red cardinal landing at just the right moment. Every bit of it whispers the same thing: There is a Creator. It's Undeniable!
There is something in me that settles when I step outside. I am not even naturally “outdoorsy,” but when I’m in nature, my soul feels refreshed and grounded.
It's the perfect reminder that none of this is random. How could someone look at the sky and not sense intention? Even when I do not understand everything God is doing, I can look at what He has made and remember who He is.
Tomorrow we read Psalm 20. I’ll meet you there.
