MANNA IN THE MORNING

I don’t want to live my life trying to please people or perform for God. That kind of life costs more than I’m willing to pay. Maybe I should say, I've already paid too high a cost.

The Lord is such a beautiful example to follow. His love is hard to fathom. As much as I love my kids—and I really do—I know they are loved even more by their heavenly Father.

Don’t you love how God’s plans rarely (if ever) fit our logic?! The world tells us strength, status, and strategy win battles. The Lord's Kingdom rarely operates on our logic, if at all. He flips that upside down every time.

He is always faithful friend. Yes He is. Every. Single. Time. Period!

I remember reading Psalms and thinking, "David is such a winer!" Maybe he wasn't wining...maybe he was healing!

Are you carrying your cares or casting your cares? It is harder to do than we think!

It’s funny how the thing that keeps me grounded is often the first thing I let go of when life starts going well—until it all starts to unravel.

As much as I wrestle with seeing people seemingly get away with things, I genuinely don’t wish harm on anyone. It’s just hard sometimes to make sense of it all — it doesn’t always feel fair.
