Ruth 3:11 says, “…my people—all who are at the gate—know that you are a woman of worth.”

Other translations called her noble, virtuous, or a woman of good character—and “a woman of worth.” That’s what I want. Not to be praised for perfection (which will just never happen), but to be known as a woman after God’s own heart.

I want to be the kind of woman who carries integrity when no one’s watching, who shows up with compassion even when it’s inconvenient, who keeps choosing obedience in the messy middle.

Ruth’s worth wasn’t in her reputation alone—it was in her character. Her quiet faithfulness. Her grit. Her humility.

That’s the kind of worth I want to be known for.
