Philippians 4: Protocol for Peace

Philippians 4 was so good today. I have so many thoughts. I needed this today. I remember when the Israelites were In the wilderness and they got fresh manna In the morning. If they tried to take extra and save it for the next day it would rot. I feel as I rea4d the word daily Im getting exactly what I need to sustain me, right when I need it.

Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.” Philippians 4:6-7

Talk about a protocol for worry, anxiety and NO PEACE.  If you want to KNOW peace I see we need to pray, petition God and tell God about our concerns.  I also see the reminder to Praise Him

in advance for what he is doing and how he is working on our behalf. Get it out!  As we pray and petition the Lord and give him praise, he comes in and settles us down.  It seems so simple!!!!!!

“I’ve learned by now to be quite content whatever my circumstances. I’m just as happy with little as with much, with much as with little. I’ve found the recipe for being happy whether full or hungry, hands full or hands empty. Whatever I have, wherever I am, I can make it through anything in the One who makes me who I am. I don’t mean that your help didn’t mean a lot to me—it did. It was a beautiful thing that you came alongside me in my troubles.”

‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬:10‬-‭14‬ ‭MSG‬‬

Let me put my little Kami twist on this for my current circumstances…

I’ve learned by now to be quite content whatever my circumstances. I’m just as happy with little as with much, with much as with little. I’ve found the recipe for being happy whether full or hungry, hands full or hands empty. Whether I sell my home, or I don’t.  Whether my bio kids are living in the home or they are not, whether I have homes listed or not, whether my buyers find a home or they don’t.  Whether I am single or whether I am in a relationship.  Whether I have income coming in or I don’t.  Whether  I feel great or am in pain.  Whether my boys are speaking or they are at odds. Whether Keimani is regulated or flying off the handle...Whatever I have, wherever I am, I can make it through anything in the One who makes me who I am. I don’t mean that your help didn’t mean a lot to me—it did. It was a beautiful thing that you came alongside me in my troubles. No matter what I'm thankful for the encouragement I have received. God has provided that's for sure!

What is happening in your world right now that you need to stop fighting and start trusting God to work it perfectly for your good?
