Today we celebrate the Fourth of July. I am so thankful for the gift of freedom, not only here in our country, but also as a Christian. What the law could not do, Jesus did when he died on the cross.
What we were powerless to do through behavior modification and religious activities, Christ did for us on the cross, and now we can live allowing his power to make our new life in Christ VICTORIOUS
Read Galatians 2 with me today. Lets celebrate the freedom we have. This is why I love getting in God's word daily. It is always RIGHT ON TIME!
““I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!””

I have tried to live this life with Christ both through religious activities and behavior modification. The harder I try, the harder I fall. Every time I fail from my own efforts, I’m reminded of the power of doing life with Christ. The power of a true relationship with Christ. Not asking him to save me from my situation, but inviting him into my situation and allowing His power to carry me through and live with me in the process.
I cannot help but be overwhelmed today as we read Galatians the gift of the gospel. I am FREE from trying to be saved by my own efforts. I get to let go and let GOD!
