Joshua 2: Faith Like Rahab

It’s wild to think about, isn’t it? The enemies of Israel were more convinced of God’s power than the Israelites themselves seemed to be at times.

“And as soon as we heard these things, our hearts melted; neither did there remain any more courage in anyone because of you, for the Lord your God, He is God in heaven above and on earth beneath.”— Joshua 2:11 (NKJV)

Those who had only heard about His mighty works were shaken. Their hearts moved. They knew—without a doubt—that the Lord, the God of Israel, was the one true God. I can't help but wonder how was it that the very people who had a front-row seat to His miracles... still struggled with fear, hesitation, and disobedience. If anyone should’ve had courage, it was them!

Rahab—a woman with a complicated past, from a city marked for destruction—impressed me greatly today with bold, unwavering faith. Her belief wasn’t fragile or delayed. It was immediate. Fierce. Confident. She didn’t need more signs. Her belief spurred action.

That’s the kind of faith I want. The kind that doesn’t hesitate...The kind that aligns quickly and completely with what God is doing. The kind that says, “I’m all in.”

That's my prayer, "May my children and I be 'Im all In' people with Rahab faith today."
