“Therefore be very courageous to keep and to do all that is written in the Book of the Law of Moses, lest you turn aside from it to the right hand or to the left.”—Joshua 23:6 NKJV
For a long time, I think I thought I could follow God’s commands without actually knowing them. Like I knew them, but I didn't KNOW them to the core. How could I keep a law I didn’t even know? How could I follow someone I wasn’t truly spending regular time with nor KNOW His Word?
This feels so obvious to me now—but, it wasn’t always.
I’m not sure which Old Testament verses spell it out most clearly, but what I do know is this: we’re

called to keep His word in front of us. To read it. Remember it. Live by it. And that only happens by being in it—regularly.
I wouldn’t even say I fully know His word yet… but I can tell you this: I’ve never been more grateful to be in it consistently. That alone is changing everything.
