Im realizing there arae so much details to take in — land allotments, boundaries, and the things the Lord said He would do, He's doing.

Wait until you see what stood out today. It's like this little treasure tucked neatly Inside chapter 15 — a moment my friend Kim reflected on so beautifully. It’s easy to skim right past these verses, but when we slow down, we see something so worth noticing...

Well said Kim. I see myself in her too...Now it came about that when Achsah came to Othniel, she persuaded him [to allow her] to ask her father for a field. Then she [rode up to Caleb and] dismounted from her donkey, and Caleb said to her, “What do you want? ”Achsah answered, “Give me a blessing; since you have given me the [dry] land of the Negev (South country), give me springs of water, too.” So he gave her the upper springs and the lower springs. Joshua 15: 18 & 19 AMP

There’s a lot in today’s chapter. It helped me to look at this map as I read so that I have better perspective. However that wasn’t where God pulled me in today.

He pulled me in to look at Caleb’s daughter and her bold ask. She didn’t just settle for her inheritance — she asked for more.

Oftentimes I find myself seeking God’s will and feeling content in whatever that is. While that’s a great way to have peace in all circumstances, today I was nudged to pray bolder, ask for more, and do it unapologetically.

I need to sit in this a bit. ❤️

Wow I can totally relate to this. I need to sit in it a bit too. Sometimes faith looks like receiving what God gives with open hands. Sometimes faith looks like courageously asking for more — trusting that He’s not annoyed by our boldness, but delighted by it.

Today, Kim’s reminder challenges me to check my own prayers: Am I praying small, safe prayers because I’m afraid to ask for more? Am I willing to believe God for the upper and lower springs — the full blessing He has for me? Do I trust He is a good good father that wants to give me good gifts?

Lord, grow our faith. Grow our boldness. Teach us to ask You for more — not out of greed, but out of trust in Your abundant goodness. 🌿
