Here we are 10 chapters after we read about Joseph's first dream. Here today we see some of
the wisdom and strategy fall in place from those dreams. What a reminder that if God gives us a dream, he will give us the wisdom and strategy to go with it.
Personal big AHA here. As much as I think of dreams, teach dreaming and the WHY behind dreams, today God has shown me something very very different. When I personally think of dreams God has given me, or dreams I may think I have thought of on my own, they are very self-centered and selfish in nature. The more I think of the reality of dreams and who gives us the dreams we have I can't help but realize there is nothing about the dream that is solely for me and my own.
Never again will I see my personal dreams as something about my own personal gain. God given dreams will benefit us, of course, but they will always bring Glory to the father AND will be for the saving of many lives.
"Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart!" Of course our desires will mold to what the Lord wants for us AND His people. When I think of where are dreams come from really, we know they are God-given. God-given dreams are never for just us. When I of a dream I will never see it the same. Dreams are for many. They will be for the benefit of many people as we see here today.
Nothing has changed about my belief that DREAMS are important. We need dreamers clearly. Dreams in the right hands will always bring glory to the father and will be for the benefit of many lives!
