Is anyone else blinking as they read this morning? The Israelites are all over the place; double-minded, if you will. As I read how the Israelites waiver from praising God and trusting him with their every need, understanding his goodness to complaining within the very same chapter, Im like, "what the what!" We humans can be so fickle, can't we?
I used to live in a place where my circumstances determined the goodness of my God. That is just not the case any longer. When I walk through storms, when I don't have answers or know the
next step I simply find myself in the Word and at the feet of Jesus. I am not immune to pain or hard things now that I have this realization, but I no longer base the goodness of God on my circumstances.
Now I tell my circumstances about the goodness of the Lord. I love being able to walk in the Truth! He is a good good Father!
