I love that as I read a chapter a day I am reading alongside other women as well. There are days I hear something profound and other days I learn through what they learn. One of the gals in our group shared her revelation from verse 13. I simply replaced her name with mine and it really served as an encouragement for many of the things I am personally walking through.
"Therefore, Kami should put on the whole armor of God, that she may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all,
TO STAND‼️"
This "to stand" part is what got me today.
After I have gotten my armor on I stand firm in the midst of the battle knowing who’s on my side.
I don’t defend.
I don’t formulate an offense.
I simply stand in the truth of who I am in Christ and with ALL CONFIDENCE in WHO is fighting ON my behalf.
That’s called posturing‼️
Verse 10 also reminds me I am to be STRONG in the Lord, and in the strength of HIS MIGHT💪🏽
This is the very encouragement I needed this morning! I remember a while ago learning what a "power pose" was. As I read the scripture morning I felt prompted to stand up in my power pose. With a little attitude I stood up as though I was looking the enemy in the face saying, not today, not today!
