“So David inquired of the Lord, saying, ‘Shall I go and attack these Philistines?’ And the Lord said to David, ‘Go and attack the Philistines and save Keilah.’”

David modeled some very important strategy today when life is difficult and things just feel HARD. Lets not forget, David’s life was under threat, Instead of letting fear or hardship keep him In his head, he asked God how he could help. David looked outward when it would have been so easy to stay inward.

I see how quickly I can get consumed with my own challenges and miss the opportunities God puts in front of me to serve others. David wasn’t perfect, and he wasn’t at his strongest—but he was willing. He was submitted. That’s what I want: a heart that doesn’t wait until life feels easier to look beyond myself.

💭 Lets ask ourselves today, "What is one small way we could look outward today, even if everything in us wants to stay inward?"
