Acts 8
Good morning, ladies! As I catch up on sharing from the past few days, I'm just thankful for time in the Word.
Acts 8:35-39 is a powerful reminder of how unpredictable life is and how important it is to seize the moment.
”Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning at this Scripture, preached Jesus to him. Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, “See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized?” Then Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.” And he answered and said, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.” So he commanded the chariot to stand still. And both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and he baptized him. Now when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught Philip away, so that the eunuch saw him no more; and he went on his way rejoicing.“
Acts 8:35-39 NKJV
Philip and the Eunuch's brief exchange reminds me to recognize the potential impact of every interaction, especially with those who may only be in our lives for a brief moment or even only a season.
This passage prompts me to ponder: Who are the individuals in my life right now, here for a season, with whom I can share my testimony, engage in meaningful conversations, or simply extend kindness?
It's a call to action to be intentional in our relationships and to make the most of every opportunity to sow seeds of faith and love.
I can’t help but want to approach each encounter with purpose and mindfulness after todays reading, recognizing the significance of every moment in shaping someone's journey.
