Acts 14
“Some of the Jews who had opposed Paul and Barnabas in Antioch and Iconium arrived and stirred up the crowd against them. They stoned Paul and dragged his body outside the city and left him for dead.”
Acts 14:19 TPT
I know this is only the beginning of watching followers of Christ suffer on behalf of and for believing in Christ. What a reminder and an encouragement as we watch Paul get back up and continue serving the Lord that hardship is inevitable.
Lord help me to glory in my suffering because I know that suffering produces perseverance and perseverance produces character and character produces hope. Help me to not lose heart even though I may feel I’m wasting away inwardly. I know I’m being renewed day by day and I’m thankful for my momentary troubles that are achieving for me an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. TGBTG.
