There is nothing we can say that testifies to the goodness of God more than the story our life tells. Our #1 "GO" is our very life!
I felt this impression so strongly this morning as I read 2 Corinthians 3. When I say GO, I mean sharing our testimony. As I read today's chapter I don't see having a testimony as wrong but rather than sharing the very reason we believe in Jesus, I see the importance more about being an example of Christ through how we live! Don't get me wrong, we always need to be able to give an account for what we believe but I see our greatest testimony exists mostly in how we live.
“You yourselves show that we have done good work. You are like a letter that is written on our lives. Everybody can read that letter and they can understand it.”
2 Corinthians 3:2 EASY
If you have not read 2 Corinthians 3:2 today, take a minute and do so. This will make more sense if you have. My goal in sharing my heart with you is to draw you into God's word. I care more that you are being drawn to the Bible more than anything I could say or write. BUT if in my sharing what's going on with me you are drawn to the Word yourself, I consider this blog a success!
Lord, may my life bring glory to you. When people see me I pray they see you, Father. Whomever is reading this may they be drawn to you through your very word! Amen.
