Romans 4
Wow, what a word this morning and what a privilege it is to spend time in God’s word, with the Word, learning from the Word and being comforted by the Word,…
I am praying and believing on Brian’s behalf for complete healing in Jesus name!
“That’s what the Scripture means when it says: “I have made you the father of many nations.” He is our example and father, for in God’s presence 𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙂𝙤𝙙 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙚𝙖𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙙𝙤𝙣’𝙩 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙚𝙭𝙞𝙨𝙩 𝙮𝙚𝙩. 𝘼𝙜𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙩 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙤𝙙𝙙𝙨, 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙞𝙩 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙚𝙙 𝙝𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨, 𝘼𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙢 𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙂𝙤𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙛𝙪𝙡𝙛𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙞𝙩.
He took God at his word, and as a result he became the father of many nations. God’s declaration over him came to pass: “Your descendants will be so many that they will be impossible to count!” In spite of being nearly one hundred years old when the promise of having a son was made, his faith was so strong that it could not be undermined by the fact that he and Sarah were incapable of conceiving a child.
He never stopped believing God’s promise, for he was made strong in his faith to father a child.
And because he was mighty in faith and convinced that God had all the power needed to fulfill his promises, Abraham glorified God!”
Romans 4:17-21 TPT
I have had the privilege of praying with the family, friends of the young man who is fighting for his life. His name is Brian. I have had the privilege of praying with this family and circle of friends for the son who passed away. And yesterday as I left the hospital , I felt the Lord showing me how many people in that circle do not have him as their Lord and savior. Tommy died too young at 24 years old. Brian is fighting for his life at the age of 21 years old.
What a reminder of how short life can be and we never know or I should say are promised another day. And I believe the next time I am given the opportunity to pray with this group I’m going to give an altar call. If you can pray for my strength in the Lord to do that, to find the words . I don’t feel nervous. It just feels so clear.
I’m thankful for the example this morning and for the Hope he had in the Lord even unto his old age. He did witness miracle in the birth of his son.
