Today I decided to share one of the entries from the Manna In The Morning devotional series we’ve been creating with #WomenAtTheWell.

We are a group of women who gather daily through our online platform to read one chapter of Scripture at a time. There’s something so powerful about opening the Word for yourself, letting it speak to you, and allowing the Holy Spirit to bring revelation. It isn’t always a lightbulb moment—often it’s a wrestle. That’s the beauty of it. Some days we wrestle alone with the Lord, and other

days we wrestle in community, hearing insights and experiences from one another. Either way, we’re never really alone. The devotional series was birthed from a place for women reading God's Word to never do it alone! The fear of doing it alone often keeps us from doing reading it on our own at all.

As the Lord brought the Israelites out of Egypt, He taught them to depend on the source, not the supply. Manna in the wilderness wasn’t about bread falling from the sky—it was about learning daily dependence on God. The same is true for us. The Bible itself isn’t our source; the Lord is. His Spirit is the One who breathes life, revelation, and transformation as we read.

So, if you’ve ever wanted to read the Word but felt intimidated or unqualified—welcome to the club. Whether you’re a longtime believer or still seeking, there’s a place for you at our table: The Well Encounter

The wilderness required daily manna. Our lives require daily nutrition and deliverance. Every single day, the invitation is the same: depend on the Source.
