Jesus replied, "Would you truly lay down your life for me, Peter? I tell you the truth - before the rooster crows tomorrow morning, you will deny three times that you even know me."

Reflecting on today's chapter reading, I think, "I would never..."
As much as I say it, I recognize my need for a Saviour. I can admit that most days I feel like a mess.
Despite Peter's denials, God used him in remarkable ways, and knowing this offers me comfort. Although the enemy may seek to burden me with guilt, Jesus continues to use me anyway and I am so thankful for this.
Today my prayer is simple: "Lord, use me."
